How to Make a Denim Sunflower Headband

Here's one way of making use of your old denim pants.

Upcycle and turn them into adorable Sunflower headband.

What you need:

Strip of denim fabric
circle denim fabric
artificial (sun)flower
headband skeleton
needle and blue thread
glue stick and glue gun

Let's start!

1. Draw your pattern.

2.   Cut a 25 inches (long) x 1 inch (wide) strip of denim.

Fray the sides of the long strip.

3.   Do a running stitch along the side of the circle.

4.  Pull the thread when you reach the the point where you started to create a smaller circle as shown in the picture.

5.   Glue the flower on the fabric. Set aside.

6.    Apply a small amount of glue on one end of the headband

7. Wrap the denim strip around the headband. Apply glue for each turn or once every 2 turns until you reach the other end. Cut excess fabric and secure the end with a good amount of glue.

8.   Glue the flower on the  headband and you're done! :)
