Holy week has just concluded.   Here's one of the highlights of how we celebrated the "Salubong" in my community here in Executive 1 Springville. The Encounter of the Blessed Mother and the Risen Christ The Procession "Salubong" is a celebration of the supposed meeting of Jesus and Mama Mary after Jesus has resurrected from the dead.   As per tradition, the procession starts with two separate groups. One to follow Mary (women's group) and one to follow Jesus (men's group) The two groups will meet at the center or in many cases in front of the Church.   Done every year at dawn on Easter Sunday; this year we started at around 3:45 A.M.
