It’s the last quarter of the year and how time flies!   This is the time when you start browsing for possible gifts because you know, just in case you get lucky and chance upon a good deal. We’ll I have found just that and I’m going to share it with you. Easy to make Wicked Witch Legs

"Wizard of Oz" is one of my kids' favorite movies.  Aside from watching the movie over and over, they too had a musical book where they can sing along with their favorite songs, thanks to Tito Ando, my husband's brother who sent the book and introduced the story to all of us.   My oldest son Jonas loves to sing "Follow the Yellow Brick Road" while my youngest,  Jino sings the song "If I Were the King of the Forest" with so much passion with a bit of head shaking when trying to make his voice vibrate just like how "Cowardly Lion" does. My step daughter , Pat loves all songs and is always happy to sing along with her younger siblings. That was many years ago,  now they're all grown up and I miss the days that they were still small and excited to celebrate the Halloween. As a Mom and all Mom's know this, our kids will always be our babies no matter how old they get. This Halloween I decided to create something that...

Neat Storage for Plastic Bags

Image
From this Ugly to Neat pretty! Neat Kitchen My Tia Eda taught me to be very tidy and clean when it comes to keeping a house because it says a lot about the person living in it.  I was 7 years old. With pure diligence she taught me how to fold each plastic and brown bag neatly and how they should be tucked inside our kitchen drawers. Fast forward 43 years later. This is how my plastic bags looked like. Most of the  houses/kitchen I've been to? They  keep  their plastic bags this way too. Why? because it's less fussy and easy,  BUT  it's panget  (ugly).  So if your door knob is broken or missing? You have a big problem. Light Bulb Moment Here's a neat idea of how to store your plastic bags and actually looks nice on your Kitchen too! How to do it? Watch the video below. Thank you for watching! You can avail of tissue boxes at  Lazada Tissue Box Sho...

How to Become Happy-er Remember when we were children?  It was so easy to find ways to be happy. In fact we don't find happiness at all, they just come...and they're often. Now that we're adults, the opportunity to be HAPPY is getting scarce. Here's 10 tips on how to be HAPPY- er. 1. Sleep 6 to 8 hours a day. Of course we all know this already! And so,  why are we growing feathers and eyes getting wider.  Did I hear you hoot last night? Figure it out and DO something about it. 2. Eat.   Please. No one is going to do this for you. 3. Smile soon as you wake up.  Yes,  plaster that fake smile on your face for a good 5 mins.  Just do it. 4. Plant. If it dies? Plant again. If it dies again. Buy an artificial plant. Don't give up. 5. Drink warm water in lieu of coffee.  Okay, if you don't have any medical issues that forbids you to drink coffee, by all mean gulp it. 6. Deactivate Facebook, Instagr...

Bonsi My Lhasa Apso

Image
Many many years ago  I had a Puppy named Wawa. I used to hold her in my two tiny hands and would say, "kawawa...kawawa".    Wawa was born disabled.  Her hind legs were useless. She would walk using her two front legs and drag the 2 behind, as a result, her bare tummy gets scratched against the floor. Worried,  I asked my mother who was a dressmaker to sew her a skirt to protect her tummy from being scratched.  Wawa eventually died from an infection, she was only 2 months old. Wawa engraved her name in my heart, it has been 37 years since she passed and her memory still lives in my memory.   Our Dog Bonsi We have 3 Lhasas. The youngest is Bonsi. The big one on the pic is Bonsi. He is the fiercest one.  He's so brave he would run after kids passing by in front of our house. He's so protective of us his family. What I've Learned from my Lhasa Apso The oldest Lhasa we have is Drizzle. She is our first baby and she's 7 ...
