"Wizard of Oz" is one of my kids' favorite movies. Aside from watching the movie over and over, they too had a musical book where they can sing along with their favorite songs, thanks to Tito Ando, my husband's brother who sent the book and introduced the story to all of us.
My oldest son Jonas loves to sing "Follow the Yellow Brick Road" while my youngest, Jino sings the song "If I Were the King of the Forest" with so much passion with a bit of head shaking when trying to make his voice vibrate just like how "Cowardly Lion" does. My step daughter , Pat loves all songs and is always happy to sing along with her younger siblings.
That was many years ago, now they're all grown up and I miss the days that they were still small and excited to celebrate the Halloween.
As a Mom and all Mom's know this, our kids will always be our babies no matter how old they get. This Halloween I decided to create something that will bring back memories of their childhood. I decided to make The Wicked Witches Legs Halloween Decor.
This is so easy to do and very cheap to make.
What you will need:
1 pair red shoes
1 pair of striped knee-high socks
6 (11 inches) Paper Towel Roll
2 (26 inches) wooden stick
News papers
Packaging tape
Scissors
Procedure:
Step 1: Tape 3 towel rolls together to create the first leg. Do the same to the remaining 3 towel rolls.
Sep 2. Fit in the 3rd roll into the shoes and adjust the fittings by inserting crumpled news papers inside the rolls.
Step 3. Wrap the leg part of the rolls with news paper. Add more to the calf areas.
Step 4. Put on the socks for both legs and fit it in the shoes.
Step 5. Insert the wooden sticks in to the legs. The sticks will create a support to the Paper rolls just like a bone would support a human leg. Make sure that the sticks are longer than the legs (paper rolls) so that you will have a portion to stick it to the ground.
And you're done! Enjoy the Halloween with your Kids!
