Customer Gallery: Tagua Beaded Designs by Winner of April’s Jewelry Making Contest

Customer Gallery: Tagua Beaded Designs by Winner of April’s Jewelry Making Contest

InMyBasket's Tagua Bead Jewelry on Ecuadorian Hands site.

If you know me personally and/or a close friend of mine you're most likely aware that a stink can ruin my mood. I am very sensitive to smell. It can make or break my day. That's the reason why I often have air freshener inside my house, just to make sure that my house smells good all the time.

The same reason why I find working with Tagua beads such a JOY! It smells so sweet! The scent is actually very similar to coconut.  Do you know scent is like music too? It brings back memories. So, there I was beading Tagua with happy childhood memories playing on my mind.

For beaders , hobbyist, bead collectors or someone who's just curious on whats new on the "bead scene"? I highly recommend you check out the page for yourselves. I have enjoyed working with Tagua Beads myself. I hope you will experience Tagua soon too.

Cheers!

Pearl Bead Cuf f-Tutorial I wrote for craftbits.com

Shell Flower Bangle

I am very much into creating flowers using beads. Shell Flower Bangle is one of them. I have been making these for months now using different shells and semi precious stones. Some of these flowers are made into rings, pendants and of course! cuff bangle :)

Recently, Craftbits.com published my tutorial for Shell Flower Bangle . If you are interested to learn how to do this jewelry, just click the link below and it will lead you to Craftbit's tutorial page.

Oh and by the way, we would love to hear from you. Please leave a remark or comment at the bottom part of the page or you can just rank it. Thanks.:)

I wanted to include the original photo used in the tutorial, unfortunately it's stored in the other computer..blah! Anyway, have fun doing your own version! Bead away! :))

Tutorials I wrote in Collaboration with XQ Designs

I never really planned that I would be writing tutorials because I didn't know I could. Until XQ Designs approached me and asked If I could write for them.

I learned how to bead via online research. And that would mean me watching a lot of free tutorials available on You Tube among other beading sites. It's funny, because I must have watched a lot of videos that I have memorized some lines of my favorite tutors.  Whenever I do my own beading I would mimic the designers on how they explain techniques and the step by step procedure in making the jewelry. Yes, I mimic even the way they breathe. My son Jino would laugh so hard 'cos he thinks I'm funny. Well I thought that was funny too.:)

To date I have written 4 tutorials for 2 different  Beading sites.

Here's 3 of them.
Pretty Tangled

No Less Than a Princess

Boracay Palms
